GM, say it back.

A familiar exchange of "hey" with deeper significance. Together, let's forge new paths—with mutual respect, accountability, and unwavering dedication to creating, sharing, and transforming elements that foster goodness and wholesomeness in an internet that is both equitable and enjoyable. GM, your opinion holds weight. GM, I'm eager to hear your thoughts—what's on your mind? Let's join forces. Let's collaborate. Let's learn and evolve, together.

At Disco, we believe in GMs as currency and culture–the fabric that holds us together. Why not trace those moments of interaction and human connection, but in a format you can control?

At Disco, we consider verifiable credentials (VCs) to be the building blocks of your identity. Credentials can represent sensitive and consequential information–stuff you’d never want to put on a chain. But, cumulatively, they can also simply be frames to capture our behaviors and interactions, like saying “gm” to a new friend, a long time acquaintance, or someone you admire. By sending someone a GM, you’re shaping your identity, encompassing the myriad of interactions we engage in with others, whether online or offline.

At Disco, sending GMs is a familiar interaction, enhanced by the power of VCs and the ability for you to control the visibility and access to the frames of those interactions.

So, what are you waiting for? Send someone a GM. Start a conversation. Keep building your identity and control the narrative however you choose.

Sending a GM

Visit app.disco.xyz to create a data backpack and make it yours.

Add a display name, link an account, and set a bio (if your life story was a tweet, what would you say?).

With a complete profile, you’re ready to send credentials to anyone you want. All you need is someone’s DID or eth address (if they don’t yet have a Disco data backpack).

For example, I searched for Evin by her twitter handle (@provenauthority) to send her a GM from my profile – but you can also search by anyone's DID, Discord username, or eth address.

Now it’s your turn! Have fun :)
